Like-for-like 3D characters

As detailed earlier in this document, the base 3D Moof avatar was completed as part of the foundations of Moof World. This means the structure, rigging and textures for the overall structure of the Moofs are already in place and with access to the metadata of the Moof NFTs, the creation of like-for-like Moof 3D characters is the next priority once the Moof NFTs have been distributed.

The aim in this level of the Stage I Map is to compile the traits, including the hidden treads trait, and translate them from the 2D artwork to 3D avatars. The characters are then able to be used directly in our partner worlds as well as animation packages for the creatives out there. This stage will also include working closely with our partners to make this process as smooth as possible, making it super user friendly and easy to get going.

Moof World has worked hard to secure a world class 3D artist that spends a lot of time in not only guiding the creation of the Moofs, but also providing key feedback in how the 2D traits should look in order to translate efficiently into 3D traits. As such, a large portion of the work has already been completed, so unlike many projects that rely on mint funds to execute this sort of activity, we are not.

Once complete, and celebrated with a massive Moof Party, the final level of the Stage I Map becomes complete, with the rewards level leading on to setting the stage for the movement of Moof World towards Stage 2, and a new detailed Map!
